September 2003: Alabama Recovery Network/Friends of Recovery-Alabama (ARN/FOR-AL) Recovery Month In September 2003 we will celebrate the 14th annual National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month. This month is set aside to highlight the strides made in substance abuse treatment, and to educate the public that addiction is a chronic, but treatable public health problem that affects us all. This year's theme "Join the Voices for Recovery: Celebrating Health."
