The Coronado SAFE Foundation was conceived by the community as a response to the problem of adolescent substance abuse. We are a coalition of parents, educators, spiritual leaders, law enforcement and other concerned citizens, and have the full support of the Coronado City Council and Coronado Unified School District. We depend on donations from the community as well as the City of Coronado to meet our day to day needs and fund our various programs. We believe that the first responsibility of our community is the well being of its young members. We feel that only a concerted effort by the entire community can prevent our young people from falling into the abyss of substance abuse. Our name is an acronym for our goal of a S ubstance A buse F ree E nvironment. Please join with us in creating this reality for the youth of Coronado by making our community a SAFE community.
