Description
The Cornish Gliding and Flying Club is the only gliding club open to the public in Cornwall. It can be justly proud of its history - its origins are early in the gliding movement and we are now nearly 50 years old.
It is based at Perranporth airfield, an old wartime airfield ( then known as Trevellas airfield ) on the North Cornish coast, about one kilometre west of Perranporth.
Perched on the cliff edge 100 metres above the sea the airfield occupies a dramatic position with fine coastal and countryside views.
