- Located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA, Corken was founded in 1924 quickly gaining a reputation for excellence in customer service. In the 1940's, the company entered the liquid petroleum gas (LPG) industry, which proved to be a turning point. In the years to follow, Corken quickly gained market recognition for its line of compressors and pumps for the propane, butane and anhydrous ammonia industries. (See Timeline)
- Since then that time, Corken compressors and pumps have also been used to transfer a wide range of toxic, explosive or flammable liquids and gases. In the early 80s, Corken introduced the first petroleum industrial pump and in 1985, Corken designed its first D-style (dual packing) industrial compressor.
