Copeland Oaks is a facility designed for active seniors 55 years and older who are looking for an independent lifestyle. They have operated in covenant with East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church for more than 40 years, and has had more than 2,700 independent minded adults. There is a 24 hour health clinic and a continuum of care on site at the Crandall Medical Center. Their care secures the future of their residents from independent living. The staff is committed to serving residents with integrity and compassion.
Mission
Copeland Oaks is a nonprofit retirement community that is open to people of all faiths. They are committed to providing programs and services to help their residents maintain wellness and independence in all aspects of their lives weather that be physical, spiritual and emotional. Moving to Copeland Oaks while still active will increase the chances of remaining self-reliant, healthy and happy for a long time to come.
Campus
Copeland Oak’s campus is a 250 acre senior citizen facility located in Northeast Ohio. It is set in a lovely wooded area with walking trails, gazebos, flower gardens and a stocked fishing lake. It is designed to enhance the lifestyle of the residents and to keep them independent and active for as long as possible. Their wellness center consists of an indoor pool, exercise classes and educational programs. If medical attention is required they have an on-site health clinic, assisted living apartments, skilled nursing staff and a rehabilitative therapy is also available. They also have a bank, beauty/barber shop, chapel, library, gift shop, transportation services and 2 restaurants and much more.
Dining
An experienced chef and his skilled culinary team prepare delightful meals and snacks every day for the residents. A variety of meal plans are offered or there are the 2 restaurants to go to. The dining room is a friendly setting to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Maintenance
Residents won’t have to worry about lawn upkeep and home maintenance anymore when they live at Copeland Oaks. It is all taken care of for them by their professional team. They won’t have to mow their lawn or weed their garden, or even rake leaves or shovel snow. Should any appliance break in their apartment, they won’t have to worry; that is all taken care of too.
Activities
There are a lot of recreational activities to join in at Copeland Oaks. They have aquatics and fitness centers, nature trails, bass-fishing and a Chorale group. They also offer regular special events and fun filled travel opportunities. There is also a library, woodworking shop, art studio gardening area and a game room. Residents are also lifetime members of free golf at the nearby Sebring Country Club. With concerts, theater and lecture events available it will be hard to be bored at Copeland Oaks.
