Here in Vermont, there is a maple sandwich cookie you can buy in some of the smaller grocery stores. It is called Maple Leaf Creme cookies made by Colonial. These used to be one of my favorite store brand cookies. That is no longer the case. It would seem they have changed not only the packaging for the cookies, but the recipe AND the price.
