Description
a not-for-profit organization which promotes through the visual arts an understanding of the culture, history and traditions of people of Central and South America, and supports popular art by self-taught artists and artisans through exhibiting their work. Con/Vida's exhibitions are designed to introduce to a North American audience the experiences of those often seen as marginal and to foster an appreciation of the artists' lives, challenges and traditions.
