Contours Geographic Information Services was founded in 2003 as a privately-owned GIS consulting firm in Knoxville, Tennessee. We provide Geographic Information System (GIS) services to customers by using geospatial information technology to solve real world problems. Our founding principles were simple: not use venture capital, responsibly manage project work, strive to provide exceptional quality services to our customers, grow without incurring debt, and have fun.
Through years of hands-on GIS experience and education, we have acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide high quality GIS professional services to our customers. There is no substitute for experience. We strive to understand our customer's needs, and place emphasis on the quality of services provided and the satisfaction of our clients.
