I'm Catherine Sinclair and I live and work in Edinburgh. My interest in designing contemporary tableware arose whilst I was looking for some crockery for my newborn nephew. I wanted something that was well made and well designed but was not too fussy or cutsie!
I realised that giving the customer the opportunity to have the child's name painted on their crockery, would be a real advantage, particularly with the diversity of children's names nowadays and how often unusual names are not catered for.
