The Youth Cell of Concern for Calcutta chose a novel way to celebrate the birth of Job Charnock's Calcutta on August 24, 2006 by organizing an Inter School Festival at the Gyan Manch. The theme of all the events was Calcutta and its environs. The Mayor of Kolkata, Shri Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharjee graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and commended the organization and the participants for the enthusiasm and vigour with which they tackled all the subjects.
