The "old" method of education and training are clearly not the best according to professional educators who now see that learning needs to be tailored for each individual. Our society had assumed that the RIGHT or ONLY way to learn is by having teachers, trainers or experts teach. So when coach-training programs emerged (including Comprehensive Coaching U), we created text materials or textbooks, built training learning from "experts" seen as the, authorities in coaching. We gave people assigned homework or fieldwork, told them what to read so they'd be able to take pass a test and get certified.
