The Comox Valley is situated on Vancouver Island in British Columbia on the west coast of Canada. There are three main communities: Courtenay; Comox and Cumberland plus several outlying rural communities, including Denman and Hornby Islands.
Komuckway, the original name of Comox, means "plenty" or "abundance" and that perfectly describes the possibilities that are available in the Comox Valley.
Unlike the rest of Canada, the West Coast has mild winters. On a winter's day in the Comox Valley, you can ski on one of our mountains in the morning and go fishing or golfing in the afternoon. It's a great place to live and to visit, there is lots to do here.
