Welcome to our Website! We extend our cordial WELCOME to you in the name of Jesus Christ and his church. ALL ARE WELCOME!! Visit us whenever you can and feel the excitement of our members and friends.
Our Prayer Quilt Ministry has been initiated by one of our members and it has now spread nationwide and in several other countries. Our Women's Fellowship has recently adopted 900 Marines in Iraq for the Enduring Peace Project, and completed over 1,060 Prayer Squares with a tremendous support from the surrounding communities. Our Board of Outreach celebrates the recent CROP WALK where our church raised over $2,200 among five churches that participated and raised all together over $3,700 for Church World Service. This will feed hungry people in the U.S. and around the World.
We are a good mix of conservative and liberal people. We enjoy both traditional and contemporary music and we strongly accept the differences and diversities among ourselves because of our mutual respect. We affirm our "historical roots" in Poway proudly maintaining the 117-year-old Chapel, which is the oldest wooden structure still in use for religious purposes in the San Diego County. It has been used for baptisms, weddings, memorial services and special occasions.
