Description
Common Ground is a full-color regional issued in September, December, March, and June. CG's first edition was published in the fall of 1989.
Subject matter is the Juniata River Valley in Central Pennsylvania—a geographically small, and lightly populated, rural area. Yet the magazine is widely distributed. In addition to appearing on newsstands throughout Central Pennsylvania, it is mailed to subscribers in all 50 states and in about 15 other nations.
Supported exclusively by subscriptions, newsstand sales, and by advertisers who do business within the Juniata Valley, CG is privately owned by Pam Brumbaugh and Ruth Dunmire. Pam and Ruth are also the magazine's publishers/editors/circulation managers/business managers/janitors.
