- The National Comedy Hall of Fame was established in 1984 to honor the great comedy legends and educate the public about the history of laughter and humor in American theater. The Comedy Hall of Fame Museum is a family oriented facility including puppets, clowns and cartoons to entertain the younger generation. The exhibits while including state-of-the-art technnology such as holograms, lasers, robotics, and virtual reality will be workable by everyone from small children to people challenged with disabilities. It will house exhibits of over 400 world-renowned comedians including Bill Cosby, Burns & Allen, Milton Berle, Peter Sellers, Mae West, Charlie Chaplin, W.C. Fields, Will Rogers, Don Rickles, Abbot & Costello, Jerry Lewis, Robin Williams, Lucille Ball, Eddie Murphy, Jerry Seinfeld, Whoopi Goldberg, Red Skelton, Steve Martin and many, many others. The National Comedy Hall of Fame is Federally Trademarked and oficially recognized by the White House.
