Our history began in 1940 as a think-tank of scientists and engineers performing war related research and development (R&D) for the US government. In 1945 the scientists and engineers decided to form their own company and Airborne Instruments Laboratory, Inc. was created.

Technical Services Operations (TSO) was formed In 1977 to provide engineering, programming, flight test, avionics equipment repair, and production testing for the B-1 Bomber at Edwards Air Force Base.
