Is there any place close to Comox Courtenay where you can jig for herring from a dock area ? Or; as close as you can get other than boating . The season should be close at hand . It is a long trip down to Vic just for herring I used to catch as a boy many moons ago . I moved back to here from Ont after spending 50 years there ,so I am a little behind the times .
