Dancing with viruses
Updated 13 Mar 04: Infected computers are emailing virus laden messages to to me (and to others in someone's infected address books). The person(s) with the infected computer will have: education or identification (at) colossal-fossil-site.com and my personal email address. Click the Symantec link below for a free virus sweep of your computer. Then if you don't use your address book, delete the entries and do so regularly.
Virus checkers are our responsibility--the guy or gal with the computer. Most ISP's take a crack at protecting customers. My ISP stays on top of email viruses. In 8 years with them, not one email virus made it through their virus checkers to me. In the last three major virus outbreaks and probably many times before, Oasisol caught and destroyed viruses laden email, before I updated my virus checkers.
