Building a personal library of books to be used for future reference or because they have become old friends should be an integral part of a liberal arts student's education. With that in mind, the bookstore stocks a large selection of books for reference and leisure reading. The general books department carries a wide variety of titles in such categories as fiction, reference, science and nature, humor, mystery, science fiction, study aides, biography, art, the academic disciplines and children's books. Books by Colorado College faculty and alumni are stocked in this department. Special book orders are also welcomed.
The bookstore sponsors autograph parties and receptions during which members of the Colorado College community have the opportunity to meet with visiting authors.
