Colonial Suites
Description
The family suites at Almond Beach are part of a new development next door to the well known Jaguar Reef Lodge. We are a Canadian family and our son Dave, has lived in Belize for more than a decade. Our idea in 2003 was to build a brand new, boutique, resort which would be owned by our family but share reception, dining, tours and housekeeping services with Almond Beach.
We started by renovating an existing, two story, building - originally called Colonial Suites, and, in 2004, added additional accommodation, a swim up Tiki Bar, Infinity Pool and Wireless Internet Service.
Our family has fifteen children/grandchildren from ages seven to nineteen so we felt we knew the kind of activities that children of all ages enjoy, and Almond Beach Belize has it all. Lots of exciting trips, a safe pool and beach, free bikes and kayaks, and, as one parent said "you can sit comfortably on your own porch and supervise them all".
