Established on 22 January 1873, discontinued on 28 December 1886. (US-T147/2003/Post Offices of Winston County). The heart of this Populated Place had been at N 34 07' 11" W 87 37' 34", some 1600' SW of the current location of the unincorporated town. (per Peter Mobley, now deceased, as related by Peter Gossett,6/14/2011).
