Description

Welcome to Collected Thoughts. This website is the result of two creative forces within me that have insisted on finding an outlet. One, a need to explore the ideas found in great literature and to show my appreciation for the artistic genius required to conceive them. The other, a need to explore the creative possibilities enabled by computers and technology.

I have posted quotes from a few books that have made an impression on me. Many other books have been collecting dust in my apartment, their pages dog eared to highlight some especially brilliant passage within. I hope to dust off these books, review the pages I marked months or years ago, and post their words here on my website.

For what it's worth, I have started a blog where I can post my own thoughts. If I have learned anything from the arts, it is that listening and observing are of no value unless one uses what one hears and sees to form one's own opinions and ideas. Passivity in this life is not an admirable trait. Speak your mind!
