The Coller work represented here suggests that the family dates back to John Coller who emigrated from Lincolnshire, England and settled in Massachusetts in 1649.Another possibility presented in "Burke's American Families with British Ancestry" is that the Coller line goes back to Thomas Coller, who emigrated from England in 1714 and settled in the Connecticut Colony. He was born in 1688 and married Ms. Turner in 1732. His son would be Thomas Turner Coller.
