COLE/GARRETT MUSIC, a song-writing partnership between Mary Cole and Greg Garrett, was established in 1999. By 2000, Greg and Mary had written and produced their first CD of five songs featuring the fine vocals of Emily Fennell, award winning Canadian country singer. Greg and Mary wrote a further twelve songs and by Christmas 2001 their first commercial CD was on sale. Greg's musical background is both classical and jazz. In 2004, Greg and Mary published four more songs, recorded by singers Lori Dortono and Ken Post at Pinnacle Music Studios in Belleville, Ontario. The songs were produced and arranged by Ken Harnden and Jon Park-Wheeler. Two of Greg's and Mary's swing songs have been acquired by Inter Music Library, Los Angeles. Taxi has forwarded nine COLE/GARRETT songs. Recently, Greg and Mary have been writing jazz and blues songs. Demos may be found on the Songs page of their web-site, www.colegarrett.com
