The Cohoes City School District is located in the City of Cohoes, which is situated on the banks of the Hudson and Mohawk rivers. The district is located about 10 miles north of the city of Albany in Albany County. About 2,150 students attend the Cohoes City Schools. The school district has three elementary schools for students in grades K-5: Abram Lansing School, Harmony Hill School and Van Schaick Grade School.
