Colorado Ski Tours is dedicated to introducing you to backcountry touring/skiing in the Summit County region. If you already have some experience in the backcountry we can help you to turn up the volume on your backcountry riding, or take the time to share a day of guided backcountry powder riding that will build memories of a lifetime.
Colorado Ski Tours is made up of a group of Colorado locals who are passionate about enjoying the great outdoors safely in winter. Our guides have years of backcountry skiing and touring experience on both skis and snowboards. In addition to this our guides possess a unique knowledge of the Colorado snow pack and avalanche conditions in the areas we frequent. Our guides have spent years observing the drainages you will tour and ski. This assures you both a fun, and safe backcountry tour/ski experience. We have access to some of the finest powder skiing in the world, and you can too!
If you are new to the backcountry touring and riding experience, we can offer you a safe introduction to the equipment, and the environment of remote touring for either skiing or snowboarding in one of the most scenic and powder-filled areas of the world, the backcountry of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. We are committed to providing you the skills you will need to step up to multi-day ski tours in a fun-filled day trip that will have you skiing backcountry powder slopes of 500-1000 ft vertical as many times as your legs can handle. We offer a variety of immersion levels that will find you at your comfort level throughout your touring experience.
