Il gruppo è formato dal produttore Donjoe e dai rapper Guè Pequeno & La Furia , cresciuti a contatto con la cultura di strada dai primi anni '90. Nel 2003 autoproducono il loro primo album " Mi Fist ", che diventa velocemente un classico nella scena europea e scala le classifiche della musica indipendente. Dopo varie uscite underground tra cui il mix-tape di culto " Pmc vs Club Dogo ", la band è impegnata in un tour senza sosta (circa 200 date) in alcuni dei più importanti locali live italiani, club, squat, manifestazioni sociali, festival e come esclusivo opening act di importanti artisti stranieri (Ghostface Killah, Gangstarr, Slum Village, Redman per citarne alcuni).Senza un'etichetta major il gruppo ha consolidato specialmente nel nord una forte ed eterogenea fan-base, quasi unica per una band rap italiana. Lo stile musicale combina l'esplosiva e versatile produzione di Donjoe al liricismo eversivo degli mc's, con uno stile a metà tra slang e poesia, una ricerca linguistica e di immagini, e un "flow", il modo di rappare, ormai unico. Allo stato attuale oltre a promuovere i nuovi componenti di quello che è un collettivo di artisti e non sempre più grande, la Dogo Gang ( tra cui spiccano Vincenzo e Marracash ), il gruppo è impegnato nella promozione del nuovo album "Penna Capitale",uscito a marzo 2006 che riceve un grossissimo consenso dalla critica più autorevole (Rolling Stone, Rumore, Rockstar, Rocksound, Groove e altri ancora) e setta nuovi standard qualitativi per il rap italiano. Senza mai dimenticare il legame con la gente di tutti i giorni e con la strada, il gruppo è in tour senza sosta con la sua indistinguibile attitudine "techno-hop" e "rap n roll".
CLUB DOGO from Milano, Italy is formed by mc's LA FURIA, GUE' PEQUENO, and the veteran top-producer DON JOE. Joe has no biases when it comes to production. Any sound, from 80s electro to soul and funky riffs or a traditional Italian song is fair game, providing a richness and versatility rarely to be experienced in other national and international producers. Witnessing this uniqueness, Don Joe is one of the most sought-after European Hip Hop producers, leading him to multiple collaborations with some of the hottest Italian and European artists. In 2003 he produced Club Dogos debut album, "Mi Fist", quickly become a classic in the European Hip Hop scene, climbing the indie chart. After cult-status underground releases the group is steady touring the whole country performing live in clubs, music festivals, street demonstrations (anti-fascism, anti-jail brutality) and as exclusive opening act for american artists like Gangstarr, Slum Village, Ghostface and more. Without a major label the Dogos established a strong, all-round fanbase. Hard lyricism, deep metaphors, poetry, street-cred, wordplay, revolutionary thoughts. In 2004 Donjoe produced all the tracks on Philly's own Grand Agents EP album Regular, and has been recently working with several international artists. In march 2006 the band drop the second studio album "Penna Capitale", generating a big buzz on the streets, media and industry. The album is getting mad love from the most important music magazines like Rolling Stone, Rumore, Rockstar, Groove, and so on. The band is now steadily touring packing every venue and rocking the crowd with their unique "techno-hop" and "rap n roll" attitude. Dogo Gang (Club D, Marracash, Vincenzo, Del, Ted Bundy, Francone, Emi Lo Zio) is liver and louder than ever.
