- Club 2000 was founded in 1993, as a result of a vision Dr. George Heiner had to try to meet the needs of people regarding security of their future. The goals were holistic in their approach involving political, spiritual and technological input to create the early beginnings of the company. CLUB 2000 was involved in video projects, art and commercial business, as well as music projects aimed towards positive message events, products and services related to the year 2000. George was introduced to Jim Taylor in 1994 who helped with the early business formulation of the venture and they incorporated with financial investments on both parts to create a CLUB2000, Inc. Jim Taylor was the Vice President of Television Associates (TVA, located in Mountain View) and director of new technologies. Using his knowledge of media and the internet along with these advanced facilities and high tech computers (2 Silicon graphics computers) they began producing media and concepts geared towards providing a place where technology could be used to advance the dreams of people as they come together to provide a better world for mankind in the new millennium. Two webmasters were hired to design and help formulate the original concept for the current website.
