Welcome to Chinese Language School of Saskatoon!
The Chinese Language School of Saskatoon is a non-profit and Saskatchewan charity organization. School is in the Aden Bowman Collegiate at the corner of Taylor street and Clarence Ave. The goal of our school is to teach Chinese language and culture, to provide a easy learning environment for students and adults who are interested in learning Chinese language. The school is run by the Board members who are interested in helping and serving our community.
All classes are taught in Standard Chinese known as Putonghua in China or Mandarin in the West. Pinyin is also used in all classes. It is a phonetic alphabet to correctly pronunce Chinese language. Pinyin has now been almost universally adopted in the West for transliterating Chinese personal and place names. The school has the best teachers who have university degrees from China and many years of teaching experiences.
Currently, we offer Chinese language classes from grade 1 to grade 8, adult beginner and advanced classes, high school credit classes. School begins on the second Saturday of September and ends at the middle of June of the following year. Classes start from 1:30pm to 4:30pm every Saturday.
