William Towne has been building Grandfather clocks for over forty years in his small, one man shop in upstate New York. He now confines his work to the reproduction of eighteenth and nineteenth century clocks of museum quality. Each clock is meticulously created from fine cabinet woods such as mahogany, walnut, cherry and curly maple, finished with hand applied period finish and fitted with a high quality weight-driven movement.
