CleerVu Aerial Specialists began trading from premises at 21 Well Road Hill, Douglas in September 1973, having been founded by Tam and Susan Maclaren.
Initially there was one Bedford Viva van fitted out with ladders and stock for aerial installations. Tam undertook the aerial installations whilst Susan ran the shop.
As trade increased the need for larger premises meant that after 8 years on Well Road Hill, CleerVu moved to their present premises in Senna Road.
