Clearwater Valley Hospital and Clinics, Inc. serves the residents of North Central Idaho including the communities of Orofino, Pierce, Peck, Weippe and Lenore. CVHC administers the Pioneer Medical Clinic in Pierce and the Kooskia Medical Clinic in Kooskia. We also operate the Clearwater Valley Home Health Agency.
Our family practice physicians, general surgeon, Physician Assistants, RNs, LPNs and Medical Assistants work closely with visiting specialists to provide a wide array of preventive, wellness, chronic and acute care services.
CVHC became an Associate Member of the Benedictine Health System (BHS) of Duluth, Minnesota in February,1998. St. Mary's Hospital and Clinics in Cottonwood, Idaho became a member hospital of BHS in 1990. SMHC and CVHC collaborate to provide services and increase the range of health care available in our service area in North Central Idaho. Together both hospitals administer seven satellite clinics. SMHC also administers satellite physical therapy clinics in Kamiah and Grangeville. Our integrated health system shares administrative staff, joins in purchasing contracts, shares recruitment responsibilities and collaborates in a variety of endeavors to improve health care in this region.
