Citizens are committed to restoring navigation, water quality, fishing and recreation in an 18-mile historic waterway near the town of Palo Verde. Affected is the Palo Verde Lagoon, Mitchell Camp and Walters Camp. River water here flows through the town, connecting waterfront businesses and residences to the Colorado River at all three locations.
