ClassicalSinger.com - Magazine for classical singers, teachers and vocal coaches

Title

Classical Singer Community

Description

Classical Singer magazine began in 1988 as the New York Opera Newsletter. For years it provided in-depth insights about the New York opera scene to its subscribers. But interest in the newsletter grew rapidly and the demand for more information by opera and classical singers from around the world stimulated a transformation. Classical Singer magazine was thus born out of demand from classical singers.

The magazine itself has grown from a small 20-40 page newsletter to a significant publication of 70 to 100 pages filled with invaluable articles for all singers, from seasoned professionals to novice performers; from teacher and coach to student.

The articles are mostly written by singers for singers with the editor-in-chief, CJ Williamson carefully watching over the publication with her critical eye for language and her professional background, having sung at the New York Metropolitan Opera.
