Dear Volvo Enthusiasts - Very Welcome!

My name is Hans Rekestad and I run ClassicVolvo.com, a web site for Classic Volvo enthusiasts. This web site has been on the Internet since October 1996. I am based in Sweden, the birthplace of Volvo. I buy and sell cars, spare parts and literature. I also share my life long experience with classic Volvos and try to promote others to do the same. I am mainly focused on the 1953-89 models (with "turbo" focus on pre 1970) but I welcome, of course, all Volvo owners, younger or older, to this site! Personally I never drove anything older than a 1953 444 PV and never anything younger than a 1995 Volvo 945. That is my hands on experience. I never, ever drove a front wheel driven Volvo! The Dutchman Ernst H L Kasteleijn has collected Volvos's for years and has even set up a small museum + a site with the above domain. He has now been told to hand over the domain by AB Volvo. Follow the discussion around this in the forum under "Tell us about your classic Volvo" .
