ClassicRoad.com is an e-zine for enthusiasts of special interest and collector vehicles. We do not have dead lines, nor do we publish at specific times. We publish articles when there is time and material that we feel is worth sharing with you. We are not committed to US made vehicles, although we probably favor them at times. We try to make our articles educational, hoping to share some information that can be helpful and encouraging to your restoration.
Make sure you join and support a watch dog organization: If you enjoy vintage cars, watch for "clunker" and crushing legislation. In some countries in Europe, there is now "end of life" legislation, where the authorities have the right to enter your shop or garage and determine if the is a "legitimate" reason for keeping your car. If they feel there isn't, your car will be hauled away and destroyed. Also, there are huge fines for not complying with this. THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!! India just adopted such laws, making a 10 year or older vehicle USELESS!!
In Germany there are towns where your motorcycle is illegal after 6PM. Imagine coming home from work late, and not be able to enter your own city!!
