The lid closer/locker is a stand-alone piece of equipment that accepts standard, hinged acetate trays with open lids. The system will close the lid, lock then release the closed clam shell to down stream processes. The lid closer/locker is unique because it allows lids with recessed button locking tabs or full perimeter tabs to be used. The recessed locks result in a smaller tray and increased shipping efficiency.
