On February 16, 2004, Hunt Power, L.P. ("Hunt Power") acquired 100% of the interests (including the general partner interest) of Clarus Energy Partners, L.P. ("Clarus Energy"). Hunt Power regularly evaluates acquisition and/or alliance opportunities that strategically strengthen Hunt Power's ability to deliver valuable supply-side and demand-side energy solutions to its customers. Hunt Power remains committed to utilizing and deploying distributed energy systems in those situations where they are an appropriate solution for providing reliable electric supply, thermal energy supply, and /or energy price risk management functions. Hunt Power also intends to maintain the same level of customer responsiveness and integrity that has distinguished both Clarus Energy and Hunt Power in the marketplace.
