- CKW Land Surveying was founded December 17th, 1997 by Jim Cantwell and Jeff Kondy. The first few months were dedicated to renovating the office at 229 South Main Street, in historic downtown Franklin, Indiana. The first official day of operation was April 1st, 1998. This office served us well for four years. As we began to grow and look for more space, we decided it was time to purchase our own building. In April 2002, we purchased our current building (formerly a medical office). After four months of renovation, we were ready to become the fifth occupant of this historic 1845 building.
