Photography has intrigued me for as long as I can remember. My father was my first inspiration, always experimenting with the latest photographic technology and bringing home interesting images from his travels. When he was trying out new equipment, I would always find a way to get in on the act. In our old home movies from my childhood, I often appear in the first 20 to 30 seconds of the film and then disappear... because I always ended up behind the camera instead of in front of it.
