The City of Dalworthington Gardens is a Type B, General Law Municipality consisting of a Mayor and five Aldermen. The Mayor and Council are elected the second Saturday in May. All members are elected at large and serve two-year terms of office. The Mayor and Council appoint the City Administrator and the Chief of Public Safety. City Council meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00pm, unless otherwise set by Council. Special meetings are held as needed.
