Description
CircularHead.com was founded by Kevin Peirce, proprietor of Circular Head Computer Services, in July 2001 to provide a service in the Circular Head area of North West Tasmania.
The project went "live" in August 2001, with the web directory, vcards and event calendar. The Smithton Online Access Centre has taken over the ongoing management of the portal from October 2001, and will provide further services, such as free one page web sites for local businesses.
This web site is designed to be an 'Internet Portal', which is an internet gateway to services and information for the Circular Head area of north west Tasmania. It provides a free classifieds advertisements section, events calendar, up to date sports and local news, and several other services beneficial to the Circular Head community.
