Circa Marine & Industrial Ltd has a workforce of 52 people currently employed in our foundry, machining shop, steel fabrication and boat construction departments.
Within the boat construction section we have the CNC plasma-cutting machine able to work with 3m x 12m sheets. This machine is used for cutting steel and aluminum for our own use and also for other large local companies. We are located in a city renowned for its boat building and ship construction and are well able to gear up with additional skilled staff, as a project requires.
Our foundry casts in aluminum, bronze, cast iron, steel and stainless steel. We specialize in high specification steels for industrial purposes. We have an extensive fabrication shop allowing in-house fitting, turning and welding. We have among our regular clients Tenix Whangarei, The New Zealand Refining Company, The Golden Bay Cement Works and the Toyota Motor Corporation-Marine Division.
