Description
The Chumash Interpretive Center, Chumash Interpretive Center, Chumash, located in Thousand Oaks, is a wonderful place for fieldtrips and group activities. The indoor museum contains authentic artifacts. The museum has an outdoor location where people can enjoy nature while learning about the lands native people. It also contains an excellent research facility where anyone can explore plants, rocks, and the Chumash heritage. Also, there is a hike up to the Chuamsh caves where one can see the native cave paintings.
