- Chromebar UK was established in 1982 by the Jones family and traded as Walsall Way Engineering as a producer of Hydraulic Cylinders, with an in house grinding and chrome plating facility used to chrome plate and it's own piston rods. In 1989 the company began to produce chrome bars in 6 metre commercial lengths for its own consumption and then later began to produce chrome bars for local steel stockholders. The company is still family owned and is run by the sons of Brian Jones, Stephen and Michael to this day and is now an Internationally recognised Chrome Bar producer.
