The acupuncturist who authored this site, Joseph Balensi. graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA in 1995 with a M.S. in Oriental Medicine. He has been in private practice in Tucson, Arizona since then. He taught herbology and the Acupuncture Techniques series of classes at the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for three years and am currently the Clinic Dean at the Asian Institute of Medical Studies in Tucson.
