Wendy is a native of Seattle born in 1951, who lived most of her life in Burbank, California, and has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1989. She is often heard to say, "I was born with a paint brush in my hand". Wendy has a love of color and vision that extends well past her canvas. She has never received any formal art training. Aside from painting, she is a photographer, a professional Multi Media Designer and Graphic Artist, she sculpts, is a crafter, lover of family and animals, and a creator of beauty.
My artwork is my voice. I have as many styles as I have thoughts and I can't seem to fill my paintings with enough intense color. My paintings are captured moments or thoughts in time.
I believe the work of an artist should be a window into that artist's soul. My paintings expose me and I find it difficult to show them to the world at times.
