Description
The Charitable Insurance Group of Massachusetts, Inc. really started as an idea several years ago. My husband had been discussing estate planning with a family that also has a child with Down syndrome, and discovered that the wait for group homes is over 10 years. We then began to think how we could generate money to help provide opportunities for children and adults with special needs. At that time I was selling life insurance. After some research we decided that we needed to expand the product lines to include auto and homeowners insurance. With the help of some very dedicated and qualified individuals, we put together this insurance agency which donates all after tax profits to charities that support children and adults with special needs.
We want people to start thinking differently about how they meet their own insurance needs while helping those who often can't help themselves. Having a child with Down syndrome has focused our family to think differently.
