Cynthia MacDougall is a 25-year plus knitter taught to knit by her grandmother. A full-time secretary, she has done part-time writing for Canadian fibre and craft magazines, and has run the magazine for her local spinning guild for over three years. Cynthia is the editor of Knit Together, and the administrator for Canadian Guild of Knitters. During the past year she has been developing an educational program for knitters.
Cynthia has developed a workshop called "Shawl Construction - From Fibre to Finish" and a slide show presentation called "A Fibreholic's Guide to the Maritimes" which is the result of her travels to Canada's East Coast. She would like to develop "Fibreholic's Guides" to Ontario, the Prairies and the West Coast, as well, to create a series of presentations that highlight Canada's knitting resources.
