Dogpatch Software is owned and run by Mary Jo Sminkey. Mary Jo has been programming in ColdFusion since it was first developed by Allaire and has sold CFWebstore since 1999. She needed a customizable product for a client and after looking at some popular ColdFusion products, realized there wasn't really anything that fit the bill. It wasn't a small step to take that first store written for her client and improve it for other developers to use as well. That basic shopping cart has grown over the years to one of the most popular and powerful carts available! Mary Jo now works fulltime supporting and developing CFWebstore, as well as taking custom coding projects for CFWebstore clients.
When she's not working on CFWebstore, Mary Jo spends a lot of time training and showing her dogs. Together they've earned many championships in sports such as agility and flyball. Mary Jo has appeared on ESPN and Animal Planet performing with her talented sheltie Taz, and is also a professional canine action shot photographer.
